Make yourself at home.
Download dsmn, move it to Applications, and open it. You’ll find it in the menu bar.

Hand it to your agent.
Paste the prompt, or run the command. You’ll find the pulse in the bar.
Give it the go-ahead.
Approve the helper. dsmn installs the hooks. The lid can stay closed.
Confirm it when Omarchy asks. Install the hooks in Settings if you want agents to renew the timer.
Leave the run to it.
Agent activity renews a timer. When it ends, the machine can sleep. Stop ends it sooner.

A few things
before you go.
When does it go back to sleep?
When the timer reaches zero, or when you press Stop. Agent work can add about 20 minutes. It does not stack on a longer timer. On a Mac the helper lets go. On Omarchy the sleep lock is a process, and it exits with the timer. Another app can still keep the machine awake on its own.
What about the lid?
On a Mac, yes, once you approve the helper. Close the lid and the run continues. On Omarchy the lid still sleeps the machine until you confirm that in Settings. The screen can still lock on both.
Why does the Mac app need a helper?
macOS will not keep a closed laptop awake without permission. The helper holds that permission and releases it when the timer ends. The Omarchy plugin does not have one. It asks the system, and the request ends when the process does.
What about the battery?
The lock lets go at 20% while unplugged, after 15 minutes with no network, and at 8 hours no matter what. A desktop has no battery, so that rule simply does not apply.
Which tools?
The Mac app needs macOS 13 or later. It works with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Pi, T3 Code, Conductor, and cmux. The Omarchy plugin works with Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Grok, and Pi.
